Betty Verbal serves as the chief executive officer of First Prevention & Dialysis Center, LLC.  She is dedicated to patients and committed to excellence in dialysis.  She has provided business and executive management services in the dialysis industry for over 25 years.

In addition to her role as CEO, she is a highly respected industry leader in compliance and safety with all state and federal regulatory agencies regarding dialysis.

Dr. Ifeanyi Isaiah serves as the medical director of First Prevention & Dialysis Center, LLC.  He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Nephrology. He has more than 10 years of clinical experience.  He serves as a Nephrology consultant in the Memorial Healthcare System of Broward County, Florida and Jackson Memorial Hospital of Miami-Dade County inclusive of Memorial Regional, Memorial West, Memorial Pembroke Pines, Memorial Miramar, and Jackson Memorial-North.

He provides office consultations at offices in Pembroke Pines and Miami Gardens.

Nurses Nurses

At First Prevention and Dialysis Center, the dialysis unit is operated by a qualified staff of registered nurses under the direction of the physician director and the nursing supervisor. Our nurses have received specialized training in dialysis and are skilled in all aspects of the dialysis process.

Social Worker Social Worker

The First Prevention and Dialysis Center Social Work staff is committed to making your adjustment to the dialysis process as smooth as possible. They are available for individual and family counseling to help patients and their families adjust to lifestyle changes and set new goals.

Dietitians Dietitians

Diet becomes a very important part of the treatment plan for a dialysis patient. At First Prevention and Dialysis Center, our specially trained dietary staff will meet with you and your family to discuss a plan to fit your individual needs. Your dietitian will have multiple meetings with you, in order to teach you new ways to eat a dialysis friendly diet. The dietitians will check on you frequently for any questions, and will be available for follow up visits and to review lab results.

Bio-Med Technician Bio-Med Technician

The care of the dialysis machines, water systems, all ancillary equipment, inventory control for supplies, and quality assurance for infection are all important parts of the Chief Technician’s critical job. Their job is vital to your treatment team and they insure that proper care is taken of all equipment and supplies. At First Prevention and Dialysis Center all of our techs are Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technicians.
